In a 5-hour recorded course, you'll hear Dr. Ralph Kilmann's crystal-clear voice present a grand overview of our entire series of online courses and assessment tools.
You'll first learn why conflict and change are two sides of the same coin and, therefore, why conflict management and change management must always support one another.
You'll next learn why the opposing tensions between two dueling paradigms (one based on Newtonian physics and the other based on quantum physics) will predictably lead to either stagnation or transformation—depending on how well conflict and change are managed.
Dr. Kilmann then explains how a Newtonian organization can be transformed into a quantum organization by implementing a "completely integrated program" that combines conflict management with change management.
You'll then learn the sequence of eight tracks—change initiatives—that comprise the completely integrated program: culture, skills, team, strategy-structure, reward system, gradual process, radical process, and learning process tracks. Dr. Kilmann developed this sequence of change initiatives to combat the failed history of quick-fix approaches to improvement and transformation.
By taking the Kilmann-Covin Organizational Influence Survey and the Organizational Courage Assessment, you'll also learn some very practical tools for assessing an organization's paradigm and why it might need to be transformed into an altogether new paradigm—if organizational success and personal meaning are to be achieved.
This online course comes with a 126-page downloadable manual that includes an image of every presentation slide, Dr. Kilmann's personalized notes, reference material, and three self-report assessment tools.
Because this online course is recorded, you can watch it anytime, anywhere, and at your own pace—either on a laptop computer or a mobile device.

In an 80-minute recorded course, you'll hear Dr. Ralph Kilmann's crystal-clear voice explain the underlying dimensions of conflict management: assertiveness and cooperativeness. These dimensions define the TKI's five conflict-handling modes: competing, collaborating, compromising, avoiding, and accommodating.
BASIC Training in Conflict ManagementYou'll then hear Dr. Kilmann explain three additional dimensions on the TKI Conflict Model: the distributive, the integrative, and the protective dimensions. These extra dimensions provide greater depth and deeper insight into a person's TKI Profile.
By learning all about the TKI Conflict Model directly from the author himself, you can rest assured that you'll be using the TKI assessment accurately—and to its full potential.
Near the end of this online course, Dr. Kilmann provides his detailed—and insightful—interpretion of six very different TKI Profiles, which is one of the best ways to learn how to accurately interpret your own as well as other people's TKI results. His analysis of these six TKI Profiles also offers numerous action recommendations on how these individuals can improve their conflict-handling behavior.
This online course comes with a 30-page downloadable manual that includes an image of every presentation slide, Dr. Kilmann's personalized notes, and reference material.
Because this course is recorded, you can watch it anytime, anywhere, and at your own pace—on a laptop computer or a mobile device.

In a 3-hour recorded course, you'll hear Dr. Ralph Kilmann's crystal-clear voice explain how to use the TKI assessment for improving how conflict is managed in any group setting (including work groups, committees, project teams, and virtual teams).
To achieve this purpose, Dr. Kilmann recommends that group members purchase two TKI assessments (an option, not a requirement) and then complete each TKI with modified instructions for (1) INSIDE their group and (2) OUTSIDE their group.
The results from these two assessments can then be sorted into HIGH and LOW scores that show how conflict modes are being used both INSIDE and OUTSIDE a group.
Dr. Kilmann not only shows how to develop these "four-fold" Group TKI Profiles, but also provides guidelines—and examples—for properly interpreting these diagnostic-rich diagrams: to pinpoint exactly how a group can significantly improve its conflict-handling behavior for achieving greater success and satisfaction.
Near the end of the course, Dr. Kilmann presents the Conflict Management Matrix, which provides action recommendations with various combinations of (a) transforming systems, (b) developing people, and (3) transferring the conflict management wisdom from one group setting to another.
This online course comes with a 54-page downloadable manual that includes an image of every presentation slide, Dr. Kilmann's personalized notes, and reference material.
Because this course is recorded, you can watch it anytime, anywhere, and at your own pace—on a laptop computer or a mobile device.

In an 8-hour recorded course, you'll hear Dr. Ralph Kilmann's crystal-clear voice explain the TKI assessment in much greater detail—and depth—than was possible with our 80-minute BASIC Training course.
In ADVANCED Training, Dr. Kilmann thoroughly examines how certain enduring psychological traits predispose people to use different modes for resolving conflict. Once you become aware of the connection between your traits and your modes, however, you’ll find it easier to use each conflict-handling mode as needed.
You’ll then learn the ten key principles of group process (planning vs. doing, testing assumptions, decomposing the task, process vs. content, conflict-handling modes, and more), which enhance what is covered in the GROUP Training course and is later expanded in the Team Management Course.
You’ll next learn the five steps—and errors—of problem management (sensing problems, defining problems, deriving solutions, implementing solutions, and evaluating outcomes), which are the ultimate source of all conflicts in organizations.
The foregoing principles and practices are then combined into the Problem Management Organization, or PMO for short, which enables groups and organizations to resolve their most complex problems and conflicts—efficiently and effectively.
This online course comes with a 132-page downloadable manual that includes an image of every presentation slide, Dr. Kilmann's personalized notes, reference material, a busines case study, and the Process Observer Form.
Because this course is recorded, you can watch it anytime, anywhere, and at your own pace—on a laptop computer or a mobile device.

In a 6-hour recorded course, you'll hear Dr. Ralph Kilmann's crystal-clear voice describe a very practical approach for improving the culture of any work group or organization.
You'll first learn why the rather nebulous concept of culture must be manged effectively: Without first establishing a culture that fosters trust, candor, openness, information sharing, and a willingness to work with diverse others, it will be most difficult for any work group or organization to manage its problems and conflicts successfully.
Dr. Kilmann's approach to culture management is not based on the usual practice of developing long lists of core values that all members are then supposed to follow on a daily basis. Instead, in this course you'll learn how group members can uncover the unwritten, unspoken, behavior-specific rules of the road: "What are the accepted ways of doing things around here? How do I get ahead? How do I stay out of trouble?"
Dr. Kilmann's then explains a culture-gap: the difference between an actual norm that is currently operating in the group (which often prevents members from fully utilizing their wisdom, talent, and experience) and the desired norm that—if properly established—would lead to greater success and satisfaction for all concerned.
Making use of the Kilmanns Organizational Belief Survey, Kilmann-Saxton Culture-Gap® Survey, and a number of work sheets for identifying and closing culture-gaps, you’ll learn how to use the steps of problem management (first presented in our ADVANCED Training course) to establish a satisfying and productive culture for any work group or organization.
This online course comes with a 130-page downloadable manual that includes an image of every presentation slide, Dr. Kilmann's personalized notes, reference material, and two self-report assessment tools.

In a 6-hour recorded course, you'll hear Dr. Ralph Kilmann's crystal-clear voice explain how to surface and then revise the false assumptions behind your most cherished beliefs.
You'll first learn two different ways to explore whether an assumption is true or false. The Lockean approach is based on achieving agreement. The Hegelian approach is based on magnifying disagreement. These two "inquiring systems" map onto the TKI Conflict Model (as shown below), which reveals that each approach for discovering truth uses different conflict modes for managing agreement and disagreement among two or more people.
Dr. Kilmann then discusses why this kind of critical thinking is vital for resolving today's complex messes: Because there has been so much change in the world during the past few decades, most of us are unconsciously making assumptions about key stakeholders that once might have been true, but are now clearly false.
By learning the method of assumptional analysis, however, you’ll be able to uncover and then revise your false assumptions, so your decisions and actions will now be based on today’s updated reality, not yesterday’s outdated fantasy.
After presenting the three stages of assumptional analysis (surfacing, classifying, and synthesizing assumptions), you'll have the opportunity to apply this method to a case study. Afterward, you'll be able to compare Dr. Kilmann's analysis to yours—which will give you a powerful learning opportunity.
The course concludes with an assignment (and specially designed work sheets) so you can perform an assumptional analysis on this desired conclusion for a work group: "We can apply what we leaerned in this course back to the workplace."
This online course comes with a 96-page downloadable manual that includes an image of every presentation slide, Dr. Kilmann's personalized notes, reference material, a busines case study, and Work Sheets for Assumptional Analysis.

In The TKI Package for Conflict Management, you'll hear Dr. Ralph Kilmann's crystal-clear voice explain how to make the best use of the Thomas-Kilmann Instrument for individuals, groups, and organizations in a sequence of three online courses: (1) BASIC Training in Conflict Management; (2) GROUP Training in Conflict Management; and (3) ADVANCED Training in Conflict Management.
Since GROUP Training recommends that you take the TKI twice, each with modified instructions, The TKI Package also includes your two TKI assessments.
All three online courses will be available on the same private webpage for a period of six months.
In BASIC Training, you'll learn how to interpret an "Individual TKI Profile," which reveals the conflict modes that you (or another person) might be using too much or too little.
In GROUP Training, you'll learn how to interpret the more intricate "Group TKI Profile," which reveals the high and low conflict modes that members are using both inside and outside their group (hence the need for two TKI assessments). Differences between the inside and outside perspective highlight the powerful impact of cultural norms, the reward system, and the leader's behavior on how the group manages its conflicts.
In ADVANCED Training, you'll first learn how your psychological type predisposes you to use certain conflict modes more than others, which will help you compensate for this unfortunate bias. The TKI assessment is then brought deeper into the organization by learning the ten key principles of group process, the five steps and errors of problem management, and how to magnify fundamental differences and then effectively resolve them with a Problem Management Organization (PMO).
The TKI Package comes with three downloadable manuals (for a total of 216 pages) that include an image of every presentation slide, Dr. Kilmann's personalized notes, reference material, a business case study, and the Process Observer Form.
Because The TKI Package is recorded, you can watch the online courses anytime, anywhere, and at your own pace—on a laptop computer or a mobile device.
